Lerato is the founder of Futshane, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in Auditing and Corporate Finance. He holds qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Auditor.
Throughout his career, Lerato has worked with a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurs, corporates, and the public sector. He has also been involved in academia. This diverse experience has given him meta-skills with perspectives that are useful in a fast-changing world of business.
With a solid foundation in banking audits and other financial service entities, Lerato has expanded his expertise to encompass the media and technology sectors, working at the top of the audit profession, signing off JSE-Listed financials.
In Corporate Finance, Lerato specialises in valuation and transaction advice. He has successfully assisted numerous organization’s, from startups to established enterprises, with their fundraising projects, contributing significantly to their growth and success.
Lerato’s passion lies in creating strategic partnerships that foster innovation and shared value. He is known for his ability to assemble and lead diverse teams to tackle complex business challenges. His dedication to the profession and commitment to continuous improvement has been instrumental in building Futshane and realising its strategic vision.
